Athens Area Diaper Drive
1 in 3 families struggle to diaper their children.
Diapers are not covered under government assistance programs like food stamps.
There are a few ways you can help:
1. Donate your new disposable diapers
- bring your new packs (partial packs are ok too!) of disposable diapers and pull ups/trainers for collection and donation to The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia on behalf of The Athens Area Diaper Drive.
For the month of November and December The Natural Baby will be matching all donations made at our location.
2. Donate directly to the Northeast Georgia Food Bank
You can direct your donation specifically for diapers, and then Food Bank will purchase diapers in bulk to make donated funds go father.
To make a donation visit The Food Bank of Northeast GA's website ( http://foodbanknega.org/donate ) and select "Diaper Drive" in the "Hunger Programs" pull-down menu.
Checks can be made out to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia with "Diapers" written in the memo.
Mail To : Athens Diaper Drive PO BOX 48857, ATHENS, GA 30604
3. Donate your gently used or new condition cloth diapers
Donations of cloth diapers will be held and given to other groups interested in learning about how easy modern cloth diapers can be. Free cloth diapering education is also available.
