Anise Seed: produces a licorice-like aroma that inspires euphoria, exhilaration, and elation. *Dilute properly. Use Caution.
*Anise oil contains a natural substance that can form white crystals in the oil. If this happens, warm the bottle slightly until the crystals dissolve.
Balsam Fir Needle: evokes images of mountainside fir forests and holiday festivities, balsam fir essential oil opens breathing, invigorates and lifts the spirit. Often used as an alternative for eucalyptus, Aura Cacia's Balsam Fir Needle oil helps respiratory issues, fighting germs.
Bergamot (Bergaptene-free): The fresh, fruity scent of bergamot is a key ingredient in classic colognes and in known to brighten moods and aid in brightening spirits with its light and citrus zest. Bergamot’s cleansing properties complement tea tree’s purifying actions while moderating its medicinal aroma. Bergaptene-free bergamot has been re-distilled to remove most of the constituents that can accelerate sunburn.
Cassia Bark: a close relative to cinnamon cassia bark has a sweet and spicy aroma, and definitely has energizing, warming and euphoric applications. Oils in this family tend to be hot oils and should be properly diluted and tested for sensitivity before applying topically and used practicing proper essential oil safety.
Cinnamon Leaf: Has a warm-spicy top note and is refreshing, vitalizing and warming.

Citronella Java: Consisting of a fresh, lemon-like and grass scent, this oil is often used in outdoor sprays. It is also helpful to help treat and heal blemished skin, but be sure to dilute properly with a carrier oil to prevent skin irritation.
Clary Sage: Used as a key ingredient in many skin care products, this oil balances helps balance emotions and is very uplifting. Top notes of clary sage are sweet, soothing, with a wine-like nuance. Provides euphoric and centering aromatherapy. Dilute properly. Avoid use while pregnant.
Clove Bud: Has a warm spicy-sweet scent with an uplifting benefit. Dilute properly! Clove bud oil is very irritating and should not be used neat. Use caution.
Eucalyptus: Commonly used in salves and cold care products, this oil has a fresh and powerful almost minty scent. Dilute properly.
Frankincense: Is a very flexible oil used in many blends, but especially used in incense, perfumery, and for aging skin for many years. It is characterized by it's sweet balsamic aroma. Dilute properly.
Geranium: With a sweet floral aroma, this oil is used in many skin and hair care products for it's balancing benefits and it's scent. It's also a natural bug repellant.
Ginger: has a fresh, woody, heavy, and sweet almost balsamic-floral aroma and is commonly used to help symptoms of nausea and occasional indigestion. Use with a carrier oil to make a warming massage oil. Dilute properly.
Grapefruit: consists of a very uplifting, invigorating, and motivating scent. It's citrus aromatic notes also pair well in skin care to reduce the appearance of blemishes and promote clear, healthy-looking skin.
Jasmine Absolute (in jojoba oil): Jasmine's heady, richly floral, sensual scent makes it an ideal oil for intimate massage. This oil is diluted in jojoba oil, so it's ready to use!
Lavender: The most well known and sought after oil in aromatherapy for it's many therapeutic benefits: calming, relaxing, refreshing, toning and cleansing. Lavender has a sweet, fruity, and floral aroma with a woodsy undertone.

Patchouli: Patchouli oil has been used in perfume and incense for centuries and is one of the better known essential oils. When diffused, it promoted emotional grounding and balancing. Used on skin, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes. It provides an herbaceous, camphoraceous aroma.
Peppermint: Peppermint is a natural bug repellant and helps with clearer breathing. It's scent notes are those of clean and strong mint.
Rosemary: When diffused, rosemary helps maintain focus and concentration. It also has purifying properties. Rosemary has a very herbaceous and fresh and minty scent.

Wild Marjoram: This oil brings feelings of calm and happiness when diffused. Wild Marjoram has a warm herbaceous and woody aroma. Rub it on a child's feet before a nap or bedtime. Rub on the back of neck to reduce the feeling of stress.
Ylang Ylang: Has a sweet, spicy, and rich aroma. Ylang Ylang has an uplifting and de-stressing effect. Drop some in your epsom salts before a warm bath. Add some to a hair conditioning treatment for it's protective and nourishing properties.
