We have wanted to offer cloth diapering packages for a very long time - and we are excited to start with our Prefold Cloth Diaper Kit! The Diapers
The diapers included in your kit are made of 100% Indian cotton twill weave which is a little heavier and more absorbent and durable than the gauze used in Chinese prefolds. The material is washed prior to weaving to minimize shrinkage. The finished diapers quilt up nicely, are very soft and durable, lint free and extremely absorbent. These diapers will shrink about 5-10% and will take several washes to become fully absorbent, so for best results, we recommend at least 3 complete cycles, that means wash-dry-wash-dry-wash-dry before first use.
The Covers
The diaper covers included in the kit are Thirsties® Duo Wraps - completely waterproof yet breathable, pliable, and very comfortable for your baby’s delicate skin. The inside of these wraps can be wiped clean between uses which allows for fewer wraps in rotation and great affordability. Durable Aplix hook and loop or snap closures provide a perfect and secure fit at every diaper change. All sizes offer convenient fold-over laundry tabs to protect your aplix closures from trapping lint in the wash. Leg gussets provide advanced leak-proof protection and bindings are super-soft against baby skin.
